ONTARIO SCIENCE CENTRE | Toronto

Canada, Case Study, Civic, Ontario, Restored/Renovated

LOCATION: 770 Don Mills Rd, Toronto, ON M3C 1T3, Canada
ARCHITECT: Raymond Moriyama // Eberhard Zeidler // Diamond & Schmitt Architects
DATES: 1964-1967 // 1996 // 2006
NOTES: Some fairly significant changes have been made to the building; most notable is a late 90s addition (by Eberhard Zeidler) which reconfigured the entry and front facade, as well as adding an IMAX theatre. The addition is in the “High-Tech” style and mostly serves to suppress and conceal the original concrete.
